Responsibilities
- Maintain official city records, ordinances, and council meeting minutes with meticulous accuracy
- Process public records requests and ensure compliance with Texas Public Information Act
- Provide administrative support to city council members and department heads
- Coordinate municipal elections and voter registration processes
- Manage document scanning, archiving, and digital record-keeping systems
- Prepare official correspondence, reports, and public notices
- Assist citizens with inquiries regarding city services and procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years clerical/administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
- Knowledge of Texas municipal record-keeping regulations
