Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce facility rules 24/7 during night shift
- Conduct regular perimeter and interior security patrols
- Perform headcounts and documentation of all movements
- Respond to emergencies and incidents per protocol
- Utilize surveillance systems and electronic monitoring tools
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs
- Collaborate with healthcare, counseling, and support staff
Qualifications
- Must be 21+ years old and US citizen
- High school diploma or GED required (college preferred)
- Valid Arizona Driver's License
- Pass background check, polygraph, and psychological evaluation
- Basic First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work rotating nights/holidays and overtime
- Experience in security, military, or law enforcement preferred
- Strong observational and conflict resolution skills
