Responsibilities
- Maintain security protocols and conduct regular inmate surveillance during night shift hours
- Enforce institutional rules and respond to incidents with de-escalation techniques
- Complete detailed incident reports and documentation with precision
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies for emergency response protocols
- Monitor facility access points and conduct perimeter checks
- Provide crisis intervention and support to incarcerated individuals
- Participate in mandatory training and professional development programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid Nebraska driver's license
- Ability to pass background check and psychological evaluation
- Basic First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in high-pressure environments
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency status
