Responsibilities
- Supervise inmate activities and maintain order within the facility during night hours.
- Conduct random cell searches and monitor security surveillance systems.
- Enforce institutional rules and regulations fairly and consistently.
- Respond immediately to emergencies, disturbances, and medical incidents.
- Document inmate behavior and incidents accurately in logs.
- Escort and transport inmates to various locations as required.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship and at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a medical exam, drug screen, and background investigation.
- Physical fitness required to pass the PAPOST certification.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
