Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce facility protocols
- Conduct regular security patrols and headcounts
- Respond to emergencies and incidents per training protocols
- Document all incidents and maintain accurate records
- Screen visitors and control facility access points
- Participate in inmate rehabilitation programs
- Operate security systems and communication equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation
- Physical fitness to handle security duties
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Previous security or military experience preferred
