Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate court records, documents, and case files with strict confidentiality protocols
- Process legal filings, motions, and judgments while ensuring compliance with court procedures
- Coordinate court calendars, hearings, and trials for judges and legal staff
- Provide exceptional customer service to attorneys, litigants, and the public at the courthouse counter
- Perform data entry and document retrieval using court management systems
- Assist with administrative tasks including document preparation and filing
- Support jury processes including summons and qualification screenings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or paralegal certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years clerical or administrative experience in legal/government setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and court record management systems
- Exceptional attention to detail with ability to manage complex documentation
- Strong interpersonal skills for professional public interactions
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Knowledge of legal terminology and court procedures highly desirable
