Responsibilities
- Process and file legal documents with meticulous attention to procedural requirements
- Manage court calendars, scheduling hearings, trials, and administrative proceedings
- Provide frontline customer service to attorneys, litigants, and the general public
- Maintain accurate digital and physical case records using court management systems
- Collect and account for court fees, fines, and other mandated payments
- Prepare and distribute court orders, summonses, and official notices
- Coordinate with judges, attorneys, and other court staff to ensure seamless operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or paralegal certificate preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in clerical/administrative roles, preferably in legal/government settings
- Proficiency with court case management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Deep understanding of legal terminology and court procedures
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities
