You will help streamline their experience at the DMV while ensuring compliance with state regulations. Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a variety of DMV transactions including driver’s license renewals, vehicle registrations, and title transfers.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently using the state’s financial transaction systems.
- Answer incoming phone calls and resolve customer inquiries regarding appointment scheduling, document requirements, and vehicle history.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer transactions in the internal database.
- Identify and escalate complex issues to senior staff or management to ensure efficient resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Assist in the verification of identification documents and license eligibility according to strict state regulations.
- Keep the service area organized and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience in a high-volume, public-facing environment.
- Proficient computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately input data into complex government databases.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly to the public.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and obtain a fingerprint clearance card.
- Valid Arizona Driver’s License is preferred.
