Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for potential security breaches and intrusions.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal systems.
- Implement and maintain security controls in accordance with NIST and FISMA standards.
- Respond to and mitigate security incidents in real-time.
- Ensure compliance with DoD and agency-specific security policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to secure cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certification: Security+, CEH, or CISSP preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information assurance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance.
- Strong knowledge of SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and firewalls.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to write clear technical reports.
