Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and patterns
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for executive leadership
- Ensure compliance with federal data governance standards (FISMA, NIST, HIPAA)
- Present findings to senior officials through clear, concise briefings and reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to optimize data infrastructure and security protocols
- Lead ad-hoc research projects addressing emerging threats and policy challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience with federal data systems and compliance requirements
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and ETL processes
