Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced cybersecurity protocols to protect critical government systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal networks
- Monitor security incidents using SIEM tools and coordinate incident response
- Collaborate with federal agencies to enhance national cybersecurity posture
- Prepare detailed security reports and recommendations for leadership
- Stay current with evolving threat landscapes and emerging technologies

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of cybersecurity experience in federal or regulated industry
- CompTIA Security+ CE or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (e.g., Splunk, Wireshark)
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment frameworks and methodologies
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background investigation
