Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain advanced intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Conduct forensic analysis of security incidents and breach investigations
- Develop comprehensive security policies and protocols for federal systems
- Coordinate with federal agencies on joint cybersecurity operations
- Maintain compliance with FISMA, NIST, and DHS security standards
- Provide technical guidance to junior security personnel
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for suspicious activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- Active CISSP or Security+ certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Familiarity with federal security frameworks and compliance requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain DHS security clearance
