Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced network security protocols across DoD systems
- Conduct real-time threat detection and incident response operations
- Manage vulnerability assessments and penetration testing initiatives
- Develop security documentation and compliance reports for federal audits
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on zero-trust architecture implementations
- Maintain CISSP or equivalent security certifications
- Mentor junior cybersecurity analysts on best practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years cybersecurity experience in federal or DoD environment
- Active Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) required
- Expertise in NIST frameworks and FedRAMP compliance
- Advanced knowledge of SIEM tools (Splunk, ArcSight)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) architectures
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 operations coverage
