Responsibilities
- Architect and implement strategic R&D roadmaps for 2026-era technologies (quantum computing, advanced neural interfaces, climate tech)
- Lead cross-functional teams of PhD researchers, engineers, and product strategists
- Secure $50M+ in venture funding and government innovation grants
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich) and global tech consortiums
- Establish ethical AI frameworks and sustainability benchmarks for emerging technologies
- Drive commercialization of at least 3 breakthrough technologies within 24 months
- Represent company at Davos, CES, and World Economic Forum summits
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 10+ years R&D leadership
- Proven track record commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/AR)
- Expertise in technology forecasting and scenario planning for 2026+ markets
- Successful $50M+ fundraising experience from VCs or government sources
- Published research in Nature, Science, or IEEE journals
- Proficiency in systems thinking and complex adaptive systems modeling
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python, Rust, or Q#)
