Responsibilities
- Process driver's licenses, permits, and vehicle registrations with 99% accuracy
- Resolve complex customer inquiries regarding DMV policies and procedures
- Utilize specialized software to verify documentation and process transactions
- Conduct driving knowledge tests and road skill assessments
- Maintain secure digital and physical records in compliance with state regulations
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies for verification processes
- Train new representatives on departmental protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 2 years customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database systems
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean record
- Ability to pass background check and fingerprinting
- Spanish bilingual certification (required for evening/weekend shifts)
- Experience with government compliance protocols
- Exceptional conflict resolution skills
