Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with DMV transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Process driver's license applications, renewals, and identification cards.
- Handle vehicle registration renewals, title transfers, and address changes.
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails regarding appointment scheduling and general inquiries.
- Resolve customer complaints and escalate complex issues to supervisors when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace for both staff and public.
- Verify documentation and ensure compliance with state regulations and policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in business or customer service is a plus.
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer proficiency with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to pass a background check and a driving record check.
- California residency is preferred.
