Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with inquiries regarding driver’s licenses, vehicle registration, and title transfers.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using state computer systems.
- Answer phone calls and resolve customer complaints with patience and professionalism.
- Verify documentation and ensure compliance with all state motor vehicle regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Assist in training new staff members on departmental procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum of one year of customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer navigation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Valid Driver’s License is a plus but not mandatory.
