Responsibilities
- Process driver's license renewals, vehicle registrations, and title transfers with precision and efficiency
- Explain DMV regulations, fees, and documentation requirements to diverse customers
- Operate specialized software systems to maintain accurate customer records
- Resolve customer inquiries regarding testing schedules, vehicle inspections, and compliance issues
- Assist with special programs like REAL ID implementation and commercial driver services
- Collaborate with team members to maintain workflow efficiency during peak hours
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ years customer service experience
- Proficiency with computer systems and data entry (minimum 35 WPM)
- Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex regulations clearly
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure during high-volume periods
- Valid Nebraska driver's license with clean driving record
- Preferred: Experience with government systems or public sector work
- Ability to work rotating weekends and occasional evening hours
