Responsibilities
- Process and maintain confidential municipal records with strict adherence to data privacy protocols
- Provide frontline customer support via phone, email, and in-person inquiries from citizens and stakeholders
- Coordinate departmental scheduling, meeting logistics, and official documentation preparation
- Assist with budget tracking, invoice processing, and procurement documentation
- Support public outreach initiatives including event coordination and community engagement activities
- Perform data entry, report generation, and record management using municipal software systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred in Public Administration or related field
- 0-2 years of administrative support or customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Basic knowledge of public sector operations and government procedures
- Ability to obtain and maintain required municipal security clearance
- Valid Texas driver's license may be required for travel between city facilities
