Responsibilities
- Accurately enter and update data into various state databases and electronic record systems with high attention to detail.
- Sort, file, and maintain both physical and digital records in strict accordance with state retention policies.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and direct them to the appropriate departments or staff members professionally.
- Assist visitors with inquiries, provide general information about our services, and direct them to the correct locations.
- Prepare and distribute routine correspondence, memos, and reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform basic office maintenance, including restocking supplies and ensuring workstations are organized.
- Collaborate with team members to complete daily administrative tasks and support departmental goals.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; equivalent work experience will be considered.
- No prior work experience is necessary; we are looking for candidates willing to learn.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills (minimum 40 words per minute).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
