Responsibilities
- Process and maintain veteran records using federal databases with 99% accuracy
- Coordinate administrative tasks including scheduling, correspondence, and document management
- Provide exceptional customer service to veterans and their families via phone and in-person
- Assist with budget tracking and procurement documentation for departmental operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support mission-critical initiatives
- Comply with federal regulations including HIPAA and VA privacy policies
- Support outreach programs connecting veterans with VA resources
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- US citizenship required
- Ability to pass federal background investigation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced government environment
- Basic knowledge of data entry principles
