Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for federal hardware, software, and network systems.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of end-user devices and peripherals.
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and system configurations in compliance with federal standards.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to identify system bottlenecks and implement efficiency improvements.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for all assigned IT equipment and assets.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on new software applications and cybersecurity best practices.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential security vulnerabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Windows Server, and Linux operating systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
