Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for federal agency hardware and software issues.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of office computer systems and network equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of technical support tickets and system configurations.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement federal security protocols and compliance standards.
- Conduct routine system backups and data recovery procedures.
- Assist in the deployment of new workstations and peripherals to federal personnel.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in IT or related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of PC hardware, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and network fundamentals.
- Must be a US Citizen and eligible for a government security clearance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven federal environment.
