Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit applications and documentation with accuracy and timeliness
- Provide exceptional customer service to veterans and their families via phone/email/in-person
- Maintain detailed case records using federal databases (e.g., VBMS, VBA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve benefit inquiries
- Support program outreach initiatives and community engagement events
- Adhere to strict federal compliance and confidentiality standards
- Participate in ongoing training on VA programs and regulations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, email systems)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Pass background investigation and security clearance
- Experience in customer service or administrative roles (internships acceptable)
