Responsibilities
- Manage incoming inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, directing them to the appropriate departments.
- Perform accurate data entry and filing of public records, ensuring strict adherence to confidentiality standards.
- Assist senior staff with preparing meeting agendas, presentations, and reports.
- Maintain and organize office supplies and physical records.
- Operate office equipment such as printers, scanners, and fax machines.
- Provide exceptional customer service to citizens visiting the government center.
- Support special projects and events as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate’s degree is a plus but not mandatory.
- No prior government experience is necessary; we are looking for candidates willing to learn.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain organized records.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
