Responsibilities
- Manage incoming communications, including phone calls and emails, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service to residents and stakeholders.
- Assist with data entry, record keeping, and filing systems to ensure accurate and organized departmental archives.
- Support departmental staff with various administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and coordinating travel.
- Prepare, format, and distribute reports, memos, and correspondence using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Monitor office supplies and inventory, placing orders as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
- Assist in the planning and execution of community outreach events and public information sessions.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the department's objectives.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field is a plus.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is required.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a diverse team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality.
