Responsibilities
- Analyze municipal data sets to identify trends and support policy recommendations
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for city council meetings and departmental reviews
- Coordinate cross-functional projects between city departments (Finance, Public Works, etc.)
- Research best practices in urban governance and implement process improvements
- Assist in budget preparation and expenditure tracking for assigned programs
- Respond to public inquiries and provide clear information about city services
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations in all operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Urban Planning, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- US citizenship or legal authorization to work in the United States
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data visualization tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
