Responsibilities
- Perform General Clerical Duties: Answer phones, greet visitors, and direct inquiries to the appropriate department.
- Data Entry & Record Keeping: Accurately input data into state databases and maintain organized physical and digital files.
- Customer Service: Assist citizens with applications, forms, and information requests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Correspondence Management: Sort, distribute, and prepare incoming and outgoing mail and emails.
- Office Support: Operate standard office equipment including copiers, scanners, and fax machines.
- Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with state policies and regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required. Some college is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience: No prior experience required. We train motivated candidates.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and typing skills (35 WPM minimum).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professionalism: Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate integrity.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time, Monday through Friday.
