Responsibilities
- Assist visitors and citizens by answering phones, directing inquiries, and providing general information.
- Perform data entry tasks, including updating databases and filing physical documents with high accuracy.
- Sort, distribute, and prepare incoming mail and packages for department staff.
- Operate standard office equipment such as printers, scanners, and fax machines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure workflow efficiency.
- Support senior staff with various ad-hoc administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Basic computer literacy and typing skills are preferred but training is provided.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
