Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize confidential government records in compliance with state regulations
- Process public information requests following strict protocols
- Utilize digital document management systems for record retrieval and archiving
- Collaborate with department heads on records retention policies
- Train staff on proper records handling procedures
- Generate reports on document activity and inventory
- Ensure compliance with Nevada Public Records Act requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in records management or administrative support
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Valid Nevada driver's license (may be required for occasional off-site duties)
