Responsibilities
- Perform general clerical duties including data entry, filing, and photocopying.
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department.
- Assist the public by providing information regarding county services.
- Sort and distribute mail and packages efficiently.
- Update and maintain departmental records and databases.
- Prepare routine correspondence and reports as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Basic computer literacy and typing skills (30 WPM minimum).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation is a plus.
- No prior government experience required; we train you!
