Key Duties:
As a new team member, you will support the processing of pension applications, member inquiries, and data management tasks essential to our operations.
Responsibilities
- Member Support: Respond to inquiries from current and retired public employees regarding pension eligibility, benefits, and account status using a ticketing system.
- Data Processing: Accurately input and verify member information, employment records, and contribution data into the state pension database.
- Document Review: Assist in the review and organization of physical and electronic documents for pension files to ensure compliance with state regulations.
- Calculation Assistance: Support senior analysts in performing basic calculations for pension estimates and benefit projections.
- Compliance: Monitor incoming data for errors and ensure all documentation meets government standards.
- Outreach: Participate in orientation sessions and assist in the preparation of informational materials for new hires.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: No prior professional experience required; entry-level candidates with strong academic records are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and basic data entry speed.
