Responsibilities
- Support program implementation and compliance monitoring for state-funded initiatives
- Conduct research and prepare policy briefings for legislative stakeholders
- Coordinate cross-departmental projects and community outreach events
- Manage grant applications and fiscal reporting processes
- Analyze program metrics and recommend process improvements
- Assist in drafting legislative proposals and regulatory documents
- Respond to public inquiries regarding state programs and services
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Economics, or related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Basic knowledge of Washington state government operations
- Experience with stakeholder engagement preferred
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass background check
- Valid Washington State driver's license may be required
