Responsibilities
- Support voter registration drives and public education campaigns across Hillsborough County
- Assist with administrative processing of public records requests in compliance with Florida Sunshine Laws
- Coordinate community outreach events for civic engagement initiatives
- Compile and analyze program data using state reporting systems
- Collaborate with local government agencies on joint public service projects
- Maintain accurate documentation of program activities and constituent interactions
- Participate in cross-departmental task force meetings for policy development
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- US citizenship and eligibility for federal background clearance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data management software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends for community events
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- Basic knowledge of Florida's governmental structure and election processes
