Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for office hardware and software systems.
- Assist in the maintenance and configuration of local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- Monitor system performance and respond to alerts regarding network outages or security vulnerabilities.
- Maintain accurate records of IT inventory, software licenses, and hardware repairs.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement new software updates and security patches.
- Conduct training sessions for non-technical staff on proper computer usage and data security protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows), and common office applications (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
