Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for federal network infrastructure and end-user devices.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity protocols and compliance standards.
- Document system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and technical specifications accurately.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to identify system inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Monitor system performance and respond to alerts to ensure 24/7 operational continuity.
- Conduct basic audits of hardware inventory and software licenses in accordance with federal regulations.
- Participate in after-hours on-call rotation for critical system outages.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent technical experience).
- Strong foundational knowledge of networking concepts, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and hardware components.
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and service desk operations is a plus.
- U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation.
- Willingness to undergo background investigations and drug screening.
