Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 Technical Support: Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for government employees and external stakeholders.
- System Maintenance: Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, printers, and network peripherals.
- Security Compliance: Support the implementation of cybersecurity protocols and ensure compliance with federal security standards (e.g., NIST).
- Help Desk Operations: Manage incoming service requests, track ticket status, and provide timely updates to users.
- Data Entry & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of system configurations and user access logs.
- Network Support: Monitor local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) for connectivity issues.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Experience: No prior experience required; however, familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is highly desired.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of computer hardware components, operating systems (Windows 10/11), and networking concepts.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Availability: Ability to work on-site in Tampa, FL with occasional travel to government facilities.
- Security: U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
