Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
- Manage and track IT service requests using ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of end-user devices, including laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Conduct basic network diagnostics and resolve connectivity issues for government employees.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate records of support activities.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement software updates and security patches.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field is a plus.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and network connectivity.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to obtain necessary government security clearances or background checks.
