Responsibilities
- Analyze pension plan documentation for compliance with ERISA and IRS regulations
- Review and process participant benefit claims with precision and attention to detail
- Assist in conducting plan audits and preparing regulatory filings
- Communicate complex pension concepts to participants and stakeholders
- Maintain accurate databases of plan assets and participant information
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve compliance issues
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current on evolving pension regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- Basic knowledge of pension plan structures and federal regulations (ERISA, IRS)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to numerical accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
