Responsibilities
- Administer federal pension plans including TSP, FERS, and CSRS retirement systems
- Process daily payroll and pension contributions with 100% accuracy
- Advise federal employees on retirement planning and benefit optimization
- Ensure compliance with OPM and IRS pension regulations
- Manage pension fund reconciliations and financial reporting
- Develop educational materials for retirement planning workshops
- Collaborate with HR and finance departments on pension-related matters
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- 3+ years of pension administration or federal benefits experience
- Proficiency in federal retirement systems (FERS/CSRS) and TSP
- Strong knowledge of OPM regulations and IRS pension guidelines
- Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling capabilities
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts
- Active federal security clearance or ability to obtain one
