Responsibilities
- Analyze legislative proposals and regulatory impacts for state agencies
- Prepare concise policy briefs and executive summaries
- Conduct research using state databases and public recordsCoordinate stakeholder meetings and public comment sessions
- Support agency compliance with Oklahoma Open Records Act
- Track budget allocations and legislative funding trends
- Assist with grant application processes for community programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 0-2 years of professional experience (internships accepted)
- Strong research and analytical writing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to obtain Oklahoma State Security Clearance
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license (if travel required)
- Knowledge of Oklahoma state government structure preferred
