Responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis on policy issues affecting Colorado communities
- Prepare clear, concise reports and briefings for senior leadershipAssist in drafting legislation, regulations, and policy recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement state initiatives
- Monitor federal and state legislation relevant to assigned policy areas
- Participate in stakeholder meetings and public hearings
- Maintain accurate records of policy research and outcomes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 0-2 years of professional experience (internships accepted)
- Strong analytical and research capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
