Responsibilities
- Conduct research and analyze public policy data to support state initiatives
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for legislative review
- Coordinate with state agencies to implement program compliance
- Manage public records requests and maintain confidential documentation
- Assist in budget tracking and expenditure analysis
- Support public outreach and stakeholder engagement activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 0-2 years of professional experience (internships acceptable)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
- California residency required at time of appointment
