Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection, verification, and analysis of public data and statistics to inform policy decisions.
- Prepare routine reports and presentations for state agency leadership and external stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, vendors, and the general public regarding program inquiries and procedures.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical records in strict compliance with state privacy regulations and confidentiality standards.
- Support the development and implementation of administrative policies, procedures, and workflow improvements.
- Conduct research on emerging trends in public administration to enhance departmental efficiency.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in data entry and reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to learn internal government software systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven government environment.
- Valid Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation are a plus.
