Responsibilities
- Perform accurate data entry and filing of confidential state documents and records.
- Answer incoming telephone inquiries and direct calls to appropriate departments.
- Assist the public and staff with basic questions regarding departmental procedures.
- Maintain organized office systems, including spreadsheets and databases.
- Prepare and distribute internal correspondence, memos, and reports.
- Assist in the coordination of departmental meetings and events.
- Comply with all state privacy and security regulations regarding sensitive information.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in repetitive tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Valid Driverβs License is not required but may be a plus for travel between branches.
