Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection, entry, and verification of administrative data to ensure accuracy and compliance with state regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries from the public, vendors, and fellow employees via phone, email, and in-person.
- Prepare and organize files, records, and correspondence for departmental review and filing.
- Support senior staff with scheduling, meeting coordination, and minute-taking during government proceedings.
- Conduct basic research to gather information relevant to ongoing state projects and policy initiatives.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and equipment, ensuring resources are available for daily operations.
- Assist in the processing of paperwork related to state grants, contracts, or community programs.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with government database systems is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of accuracy in data entry and document preparation.
