Responsibilities
- Assist the public with inquiries regarding state programs, permits, and services in a professional and courteous manner.
- Process and maintain accurate records, data entries, and case files using government databases.
- Prepare and distribute internal correspondence, reports, and meeting agendas.
- Coordinate schedules, answer multi-line phones, and direct incoming calls efficiently.
- Support senior staff with administrative tasks, including filing, photocopying, and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and office protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer navigation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse populations.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or eligible to work in the United States.
