Responsibilities
- Assist with administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and document management.
- Process incoming applications and maintain accurate records for state agencies.
- Communicate effectively with the public, vendors, and internal departments via phone and email.
- Support department heads by preparing reports, scheduling meetings, and organizing schedules.
- Conduct research on state regulations and ensure compliance with government policies.
- Maintain a professional and organized workspace to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Attend mandatory training sessions and professional development workshops to enhance skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Valid driverβs license and reliable transportation are preferred.
- Experience with database management is a plus but not required for entry-level candidates.
