Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations and administrative functions to ensure organizational efficiency and compliance with VA regulations.
- Coordinate and schedule high-level meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements for executive leadership.
- Manage and disseminate complex information, drafting correspondence, reports, and memos with precision.
- Supervise and mentor a team of administrative support staff, conducting performance evaluations and training.
- Monitor office budget expenditures and prepare financial reports to ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Ensure strict confidentiality and security of sensitive federal records and information.
- Act as the primary point of contact for inter-agency communications and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience in a federal, state, or local government setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and VA-specific policies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and electronic filing systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to draft formal documents.
- Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
