Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the daily administrative functions of the department, ensuring smooth workflow and operational efficiency.
- Manage correspondence, memos, and reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to agency protocols.
- Supervise and mentor a team of administrative staff, conducting performance evaluations and providing professional development.
- Administer office budgets, prepare expenditure reports, and ensure compliance with federal financial regulations.
- Plan and coordinate meetings, conferences, and special events for senior leadership.
- Maintain and update organizational records and filing systems, both physical and digital.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a federal or government setting.
- Strong knowledge of federal procurement and financial regulations (e.g., FAR, OMB Circulars).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and federal case management software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with high-level officials.
